“GoGoa” by GoAir and Goa Tourism

GoAir ties up with Goa Tourism Development Corporation Limited (GTDC) for development of tourism in Goa. The duo has developed a brand “GoGoa” for promotion of their proposed campaign. GoAir has announced the commencement of new flights to and from Goa. The airline has started flights from Delhi to Goa in october and they are planning to increase the frequency of flights between Mumbai and Goa.

The tieup offers GoAir passengers special rates at GTDC hotels, the special GoGoa packages will be deviced and sold by the duo through their existing network. The airline has deviced the tie up to tap the potential liesure travel passengers adding to their business travel customers. The airline is also in the process of designing such tieups in other states. GoAir is already the preferred airline of Kerala Tourism Development Corporation.

The airline isĀ  trying all kinds of innovative plans to attract more and more new passengers. GoAir was the first airline to give away free tickets, they were the first to give home delivery of tickets, they allowed 30 kgs of checkin baggage for international travellers and many kind of special discounts. If the airline is able to strike tieups with more states, they may be able to increase their market share of tourist passengers.
